So, you have a destination in mind, and you've set your budget... now you just need to find your activities. Knowing what you want to see/do is a great first step. Google will be your best friend in finding travel groups to do activities in your area and is also a great tool for finding hidden gems. Social media is also very useful for giving way to less tourist areas to check out in your destination.

Create a folder with your destination and then create a Word document to keep all your thoughts in order. If you're a paper and pen person, you can still have a folder and place all your handwritten notes into it to keep it all in one place.

After that, use travel activity websites such as Viator and TripAdvisor (not sponsored). Be sure to read reviews and cancellation policies carefully as they vary with every destination and activity. These two sites were my most used sites while planning my Europe 2022 trip and the ability to change dates/times was super easy and convenient.
