This was our boring day. We slept in as much as we wanted before heading to the downtown area. We parked in a parking garage and then walked around downtown. We had visited the Christmas market the night before, but decided not to buy anything. I decided this morning I really wanted to buy some wooden cookie stamps and a wooden cookie print roller, so now it was all about killing time until then. We started out getting a breakfast pastry from BakaBaka (Adam fell in love with the ham and cheese croissant and I got the typical pain au chocolate). Then we shopped, getting requested items and some others that just fit family and we wanted to grab them as Christmas presents. We ended up visiting the Sun Voyager And getting a quick snack of crepes before we called it an afternoon and went back to the campsite to organize and nap. After suitcases were organized (departure is tomorrow night) and I got my much needed mid day nap in, we headed out for dinner. I was craving Shepard’s Pie (or Cottage Pie) and thought the British Pub might have some, but it was all alcoholic drinks and we struck out. Defeated and not wanting to spend a lot of money on dinner, we ended up at the American Bar where it was like a typical American sports restaurant with football playing and basic American food. After this, we turned in for the night, watching a movie on the iPad (downloaded offline) before heading in early for the night since tomorrow is departure day (and Blue Lagoon!). Here’s to one more day.
